Artists!  Become a Part of New Mexico Creates

Welcome to new mexico creates, a program of the Museum of New Mexico Foundation Shops.
Why become a part of new mexico creates? Because there is no fee to submit materials to the program and you get the extremely valuable advantages of having your work promoted in the following ways:

• This website, www.newmexicocreates.org , the largest Internet site for New Mexico artists in the world.
• Through print advertising locally, regionally and nationally in a variety of magazines, including New Mexico Magazine, American Indian Art, El Palacio and Native Peoples, as well as Pasatiempo magazine in the Santa Fe New Mexican.
•  E-newsletter- new mexico creates artists are featured biweekly in an e-newsletter which is sent to over 10,000 regular subscribers nationally.

Application Overview

We have compiled a checklist to help expedite your application and listing process on new mexico creates.

Please read the check list carefully and submit the materials all at once. For your initial listings, we ask that you list no more than ten items on the website. You may add and subtract material at any time thereafter. 
Below is the Application Package needed for applying to new mexico creates.
 

Please download and print out each of the forms in the Application Package and either mail them to us at: MNMF Shops, P.O. Box 2065, Santa Fe, NM 87504-2065, or bring them by our warehouse at 1437 Paseo de Peralta, (near the corner of Cerrillos Road) during business hours, which are 8:30-5:30 Monday through Friday.
 

Please read the checklist carefully. It is vitally important that you fill out each form completely and that you submit each form that is requested on the checklist. Please note that not doing so will slow down the progress of your application. Your material will be reviewed by our buying staff upon receipt of your package.

new mexico creates is a program of the Museum of New Mexico Foundation Shops. new mexico creates is open to artists and artisans who reside in the state of New Mexico. A complete description of the guidelines and rules for participating in the program are set in the Artist's Agreement, which is part of the Application Package (above).
